Meet our amazing optometrist
Dr. Dana Howard was born and raised in the Houston area. She is a proud fightin' Texas Aggie where she earned a degree in biology. She continued her education at the University of Houston, College of Optometry where she earned her Doctorate of Optometry in 2008. During her studies, she completed three internships and trained under highly skilled ocular surgeons, ophthalmologist and optometrists. Dr. Dana Howard and her husband Dr. Jesse Howard have been married since 2008 and reside in the Memorial area with his daughter Emily, and their son Kyle.

Dr. Tiffanie (Childs) Gorman is a native Houstonian from Sugar Land, Texas. She received her undergraduate degree at Texas State University in 2003 and her doctorate degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2007. Dr. Gorman then completed a one year residency in ocular disease at Omni Eye Specialists in Denver, Colorado where she specialized in co-management of cataract surgery and LASIK surgery patients.
Dr. Gorman joined the Memorial Park Vision practice with Dr. Howard in the fall of 2014. She is an active member of the local Harris County Optometric Society as well as a longstanding member of the Texas Optometric Association. Dr. Gorman is also part time clinical attending faculty at the University Eye Institute for the College of Optometry where she teaches optometry students clinical skills. She enjoys photography and traveling the world with her husband, Nate Gorman.
Fun Facts about Dr. Gorman: shes knows everything about wine, she has the best necklace collection, mom to two furbaby Boxer pups, got engaged on the Eiffel Tower, loves to hand dance in the car to 90's CD's.
Dr. Darcy Sczepanik(sha-pawn-ik) graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2007 with degrees in Biology and Psychology. She received her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston in 2012, also graduating Summa Cum Laude.
While in optometry school, she received letters of clinical excellence in the ocular disease, primary care, pediatric, and contact lens rotations. She is also a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society and the Alpha Chi International Honor Society.
After graduation, Darcy completed her residency in ocular disease at the Eye Center of Texas and became a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry in 2013. She is a current member of the Texas Optometry Association and Harris County Optometric Society. In her spare time, she loves to travel, paint, and cook.
